The Story of Our Humble Beginnings In 1970, our founder, Gary Watrous, started making leather goods out of his 1963 Belair with just $20 worth of leather and tools. Two years later, he had purchased a leather-cut-and-sew factory and began showcasing his creations at trade shows across the country.
